Glitch McConnell Rides Again

He’s perfectly fine to lead the charge over the upcoming financial cliff! Plus, a new video is up!

Glitch McConnell (h/t to Emerald Robinson for that one) is back at work, and he even brought a doctor’s note saying he’s just fine! No stroke, no seizure, no Parkinson’s; nothing to see here, move along, people.

Uh huh. SURE he is. But, just to satisfy my own curiosity, let me ask you this:

• Would you let Glitch Mitch be your designated driver?

• Would you let him babysit your toddler?

• Would you let him grill steaks over an open fire?

I ask only because I wouldn’t let him do any of those things, and I seriously question any physician who’d sign off on it. Not that Glitch will ever drive himself again, or cook anything for himself (and what’s put in front of him is probably puréed for easy spoon-feeding at this point), but still.

And yet, he’s still clinging to power frantically. Sad and chilling, at the same time. Even worse is that the Dems have as much to worry about vis a vis Glitch Mitch’s health than the Republicans. McConnell is the one most consistently willing to pour cold water on the ‘Impeach Biden’ fires. He’s the one who’d be most likely to force a deal to keep the money printers brrrrr’ing. He’s been a consistent anti-Trump, anti-MAGA voice leading the GOP, and before that he was a leading anti-Tea Party force. He’s basically Mr. Uniparty…well, he and his good friend, Joe Biden.

Imagine a meeting between him and Biden. Yikes. And yet, with the deficit ballooning and the few actual real Republicans in Congress threatening to shut the whole thing down, they’ll be two of the most important people in the room (allegedly) cutting the deal to avoid a shutdown. All while the border crisis is still raging, the economy is teetering on the verge of imploding and the BRICS are getting ready to beat up the dollar and eat its lunch.

Now can we please have that talk about term limits and age caps?

Oh, never mind, just forget it. It’s probably too late for them to be of any use at this point. God help us all.
