The Sins of Trump and the Big Steal

Galileo, one-Eyed Cardinals, and the real reason the Left must take down Trump

In a few hours, President Donald J. Trump will be indicted in Miami, and our nation will take another step towards Banana Republic status.

No other American politician has faced the full weight of the federal government and multiple state governments weaponized against him. And yet, with every new charge, every new law fare attack, Trump’s poll numbers go up.

Trump’s popularity with the American people continues to baffle and enrage the Left, and some of the President’s ongoing legal issues are a reflection of that rage. However, that is not the primary reason why the Left continues to work so hard at bringing Trump down and stopping him from being re-elected.

President Trump’s first term in office disrupted the Elite’s plans to diminish America’s power, prestige and standing at home and abroad. Trump’s sin was that he wanted America to be #1 again, and for that, the Left continues to attack him on a daily basis.

I talk about this, and why I still believe Donald J. Trump is the best choice to lead this nation for four more years in my book Beyond MAGA:

“Trump’s success, and the possibility that he would continue to succeed as the pandemic waned, was why the will of the American people was thwarted by the 2020 election.

“Trump and his MAGA policies threatened the permanent bureaucracy, the administrative state that for years has dominated the DC Swamp. He threatened the globe-spanning machinations of the Deep State and the cozy NGO-Lobbyist-Uniparty status quo of relationships inside the Washington Beltway.

“Donald J. Trump and the America First, MAGA agenda he championed threatened the decades-long march of progressivism and globalism of the “liberal world order”. The first Trump administration threatened to expose the Deep State, drain the DC Swamp, and disrupt the Great Reset so fervently desired by the globalist elites.

“This was Trump’s penultimate sin and heresy. A United States of America, freed from the clutches of the globalists, seeking first and foremost the welfare of the American people, could not be allowed to arise in the 21st century. Trump had to be brought down, his vision thwarted, his supporters maligned and broken, and his repairing of America’s sovereignty stopped.

“When Galileo was being tried for heresy, it’s said he took his Inquisitors, including several Cardinals, to his home. He showed them his telescope and invited them to look for themselves, to see that his observations about the Earth and planets circling the Sun were correct. As the story goes, each Cardinal covered his eye with his hand as he looked through the telescope. Each Cardinal could then legitimately say “I see no evidence”.

“Since November 2020, we’ve seen too many One-Eyed Cardinals who see “no evidence”.

““Eppur si muove” (And yet, it moves) was what Galileo allegedly said following his conviction for heresy and forced recantation. Eventually, of course, he would be vindicated. Science and history would prove him correct, and several hundred years later, in 1992, the Catholic Church formally admitted that Galileo was right all along.

“Eppur si muove. And yet, it moves.

“How many times have we been told there is “no evidence” of rampant fraud, chicanery, and dirty trickery in the 2020 election? Despite the incessant repetition of the “no evidence” narrative, “And yet, it was stolen” is a truth many Americans accept about the 2020 election. Every day, more Americans realize this, thanks to the work of stalwarts like Mike Lindell, Dinesh D'Souza, and many others. The evidence of rampant fraud was there to be seen within hours or days, and despite the efforts of corrupt, fraudulent officials in multiple states, it continues to accumulate.

“Without honest elections, we are at best an Oligarchy, and at worst a Banana Republic-esque dictatorship.

“We’ve had over two years of that already, and the consequences have been disastrous. Those who gathered at the Capitol to protest in what was honestly a “mostly peaceful” fashion (without any significant burning, looting, or rioting) have been accused of being insurrectionists, and some of them have been incarcerated in America’s very own gulag. Meanwhile, allies of the true insurrectionists—those who orchestrated the stolen election—have attempted to skew the public's perception of the events of January 6th with a series of carefully orchestrated “hearings” (aka “witch hunts”), complete with biased witnesses, predetermined conclusions and professionally-produced and directed multimedia presentations. Unfortunately for them, their little dog & pony show accomplished little more than showcasing their own venality, and some of them have already had an electoral reckoning, with more sure to come.

“Eppur si muove.

“Some have suggested that the MAGA Movement should replace Donald Trump as standard-bearer and leader. These people have openly discussed “Trumpism without Trump”, to carry the MAGA banner forward “without the baggage” of the founder of the Movement. Oddly enough, it seems that the people supporting this initiative are the ones who would be carrying that MAGA banner…but I’m sure that’s purely a coincidence.

“While passing the torch from President Trump to MAGA’s next leader(s) is inevitable at some point, now is NOT the time. With the 2024 election already looming, cooperating with the MAGA Movement’s most rabid enemies to unseat President Trump is highly fraught, verging on asinine. Of course, circumstances may change between now and then, but right now only Donald John Trump has the resources and support to carry MAGA forward successfully.

“The MAGA Movement will need successors to the President, and I’m pleased to see so many great leaders rising up to formally join the MAGA Movement. However, MAGA is about more than just the White House—MAGA must stretch from School Boards and City Councils, through Statehouses and Capitals, through Congress to the Oval Office, and then indirectly, through appointment and confirmation, to the Supreme Court of these United States. We can not, will not, must not settle for anything less.

“We are in the midst of a reawakening of the American spirit, and America’s enemies are rightfully terrified of what they face. It is time for the MAGA Movement to grow up, clench up and stand up for America First and Foremost, her ideals, her Constitution, and her People. As a group of those first Americans said years ago:

“...with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”

“MAGA is already so much more than a campaign slogan. It represents the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of millions of people, not only here in America but around the world. It has become an Ideal to which a People can aspire.

“A man can be imprisoned. A man can be banished. A man can be killed. An Ideal can never be chained, vanished, or destroyed. Truth can be suppressed, but always remains true.

“Eppur si muove.”
