DEI undercuts competent minorities of all flavors, making them too easy to dismiss as DEI hires. It’s time to unwind DEI and make competence, ability and experience matter again.
This is like a secondary infection caused by the woke mind virus:
"The true hidden cost of DEI—the toll it exacts from competent minorities of all flavors—is that it degrades their abilities in the eyes of the public. That’s sad, tragic and wrong. It’s also undeniably true."
Sharing and concerned … I am not sure if I agree with you initiating and your trashing DEI. Where have you worked? When have you experienced DEI? As a ‘senior’ white male what have you experienced? Professionally? How have you engaged and learned from women and people of Color within organizations? Who are your friends and colleagues from this ‘DEI’ ‘space’? What have you learned and experienced in what is ‘ DEI?
From your comments it appears that you have no real idea. Have you lived as a white male within a ‘white make protected system?
I am open to engage and share my experience within communities, in high school. major universities, US and global organizations as Not a white male American.
Learn . Do. Act.These steps are important as an American to truly become the change we seek to enable America in the sense of Abraham Lincoln.
